Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PourRadar processes when you use the Android app or this website, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Effective: September 8, 2026

1. Information PourRadar processes

Location

If you choose “Use my current location,” the Android app may access coarse or precise device location with your permission. Location is used to determine the area around you and return nearby happy-hour results. You can instead search by city or ZIP code, and you can deny or revoke location permission in Android settings.

Search and area information

When the app retrieves local results, it sends the information needed to process the request to PourRadar’s backend services. Typed city or ZIP searches are used to resolve the requested area. Product telemetry does not send raw free-text search terms; searches used for telemetry are generalized into broad categories such as beer, margaritas, tacos, or food.

Pseudonymous app telemetry

PourRadar uses privacy-minimized operational analytics to understand app reliability and how catalog features are used. This may include a pseudonymous installation identifier, a hashed session token, app version, generalized service-area key, screen or event type, result counts, generalized search category, and catalog venue/deal identifiers. PourRadar’s telemetry code is designed not to send precise GPS coordinates or raw free-text searches.

2. Advertising and consent

PourRadar uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process device, advertising, network, and interaction information as described in Google’s own policies. Where required, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform consent flow before requesting ads and may provide a “Privacy & ad choices” control inside the app.

PourRadar does not sell your personal information for money. Third-party advertising services may process information for advertising and measurement subject to applicable law and the consent or privacy choices presented to you.

3. Service providers

PourRadar relies on service providers to operate the app. These include Supabase-hosted backend services for app data, area resolution, feed delivery, progress information, and privacy-minimized telemetry, and Google services for AdMob advertising, consent management, Google Play distribution, and related platform functionality. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations.

4. Website data

This informational website does not require an account. Standard hosting infrastructure may automatically process information such as IP address, request time, browser/user-agent information, requested URL, and security or diagnostic data needed to deliver and protect the site.

5. Retention and security

PourRadar retains operational information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including service operation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, analytics, legal obligations, and business records. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet or mobile service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Children

PourRadar is a local dining and happy-hour discovery service and is not directed to children. The app is not intended to be used by anyone who is not legally permitted to view or act on alcohol-related content in their jurisdiction.
